On the 17/11/13 Toongabbie Trail Riding Club had a Novelty Day.
A few of us from Boolarra Trail Riding Club attended this day and had a ball! Along the way, us kids got all sorts of coloured ribbons ranging from white all the way to BLUE.
The day was hot and heaps of people got sunburnt. Myself (Nikita) rode in the Novelty Day and done great! I won a few ribbons on a horse I had never ridden before, she was just a gem this mare.
I would like to thank the cooks, the food was great and mum said nicely priced for a family to buy there on the day. Also thanks to the people that ran the Novelty Day, without you this day wouldn’t have happened. Thanks to Mick for the use of Missey, his lovely mare. I appreciated the use of her as my horse had an accident the day before.

I thought that the day was ran very smoothly, the parking stewards done a got job for all the trucks & floats that just kept rolling in for hours – towards mid-morning there wasn’t much room for them on the grounds. The food was priced just right for a family to buy their lunch and drinks, lovely tables & benches to sit at and eat your meal.
The officials kept the events going one after another. Some of the age groups had up to 35 people in them – this was unbelievable but great for the club.
A pat on the back for all of those who made the day happen.
