To be held at the Cobargo Showgrounds Saturday November 5th. Trail riding, Food and Entertainment is on offer.
Arrive on Friday 4th November and set up your camp on the grounds. There are yards if you need them. Meals, showers, toilet facilities, and plenty of powered sites, all included in the entry fee. Once set up, head on in to Cobargo town, just a two minute drive away, to the Cobargo Hotel where Dave and the friendly team are ready to welcome you with great pub food and enjoy a drink or two. Meat raffle tickets, benefiting local Cobargo community groups, go on sale from 7pm and the draw is held at 7:30pm.
Saturday 5th November starts with a club brekky, then a 10am ride from the showgrounds out through the farms and trails of the Coolagolite range East of Cobargo. Lunching on the way, and returning to the showgrounds. Lasting around 4 hours, each rider also receives a commemorative “ATHRA 50 years” stainless steel mug. Later that evening enjoy a great meal (BYO) in the dining hall, provided by Cobargo Horse and Trail Riders Club, along with an “ATHRA 50 years” mini presentation. There will be Trivia with prizes, and Joe Q entertaining with music to dance to for all ages .A limited number of commemorative mugs are on sale for $20.
Sunday enjoy a club brekky, then pack up, load up, and head on out.
The full package, per ATHRA member*, including camping, yards (limited yard numbers – get in quick!), electricity, showers, meals and ride is just $110.00. Non members* as above- $130.00. For just the Saturday ride* its $60.00 for members, or $80.00 for day members ($60 is paid to CHTRC, $20 is paid to ATHRA when you pay your day membership) Full easy to use instructions in the Riders Pack.
