Harness Trail Drive at Alton Downs, 14kms from Rockhampton for horses and ponies in harness. Gathering from 8am at 217 Padora Rd, Alton Downs, a private residence, traveling along well graded gravel and sealed roads, with good grassy verges to travel on if you wish. Ponies and Small horses starting at 9 am with a 845 am pre ride talk, horses over 14hh starting at 10 am with a 930am pre ride talk. A self supplied lunch will be had at approx 10 km mark where water will be available, so please bring your own bucket. Ponies and small horses will travel approx 15 kms, and horses will travel 20 kms approx. No ridden horses or ponies or dogs for saftey. Please email or phone to find out more information.
