DESCRIPTION: Ride will be a slow to medium pace. It will be approximately 25kms, terrain is undulating, we will be riding in the bush and along some roads. Bring a saddle bag lunch. Camping available Saturday night.
DIRECTIONS: Travel along the Gembrook - Launching Place Rd. If coming from the Launching Place end, turn right into Soldiers Rd, if coming from Gembrook turn left into Soldiers Rd, travel down Soldiers Rd for approximately 3kms, turn right into Scout Camp Track. If you miss the first entrance there is another one a few 100 metres down the road. We will be leaving from the horse yards.
Horses that are known to kick MUST wear a red ribbon in their tail. Breast plates & cruppers recommended. Stallions by approval. Horses must be reasonably fit and well-shod or have suitably conditioned hooves. DO NOT pass the ride leader without his/her ok. Always leave one horse length in between each horse. Always ensure to keep the horse in front of you in sight. Under 18's must be accompanied by an adult, have a signed permission slip and wear an approved riding helmet. It is the rider
