Ride Description: be prepared with a saddle bag lunch, the terrain will be sandy, some rocky bits and step over's it will be 2-3hrs in total, and there are no loo's. Horses will need to be tied to floats, bring water for four legged friends.
Directions: The meeting place will be at the top of Callington Hill. From Mt Pleasant - via Palmer turn right at the palmer hotel head towards Murray Bridge for about 20 kms and turn right onto Pallamana rd just before Railway Xing go 8 kms till you come to a five way rd veer to left onto Monarto South rd go past the hall on the right keep going 5 kms approx still + road. Turn right go 3 kms till you come too a bend in road and turn left at the sign saying TRUCKS USE LOW GEAR head up to the big tower and park. From Nairne - through Nairne head to Monarto bypassing Callington turn off and heading up the hill, at the top turn right with care as this is two lanes going up and look for tower.
