The ride is mostly shaded with soft ground, a few tricky parts with stairs. We ride up to the water tank and stop at the picnic spot at the top and then head back down the same way. We rode this yesterday with the Mason’s and it covers about 11km. Was a really nice ride. Standard BBQ afterwards.
On the way to Katandra there is a really steep hill that you drive down then straight up (think it was on Tapley Road) one of those dips that you loose your stomach on!
There is a public car park that will fit a few floats, or there is room on the side of the road.
