The Smythesdale & District Trail Riders invite you to attend our Annual Event.  Held on the Labour Day weekend, we will be camping at the Smythesdale Gardens where hot showers and toilets will be available.

We will be riding through local bush and trails with a short ride on Saturday and the main ride on Sunday.  Camping is available from Friday night to Monday.

Saturday 9^th March:Will be a leisurely ride of approx. 2 hours starting at 1.30pm (muster at 1pm). This track will not be marked with arrows or have a support vehicle but a pleasant pace will be set so all riders should be able to keep up. Saturday is a ‘cater for yourself’ evening.  Numerous pubs in the area provide meals including Smythesdale, Scarsdale and Snake Valley.  (bookings recommended).

Sunday 10^th March:  Muster without horses will be at 9.00am, riding out at 9.30am.  We will cover approximately 25 km before a catered lunch at 12.30pm.  Another 15 km will take us back to camp.  The ride will be over undulating terrain and the tracks will be marked. 

Back up floats will be available for emergency purposes only.

Sunday’s dinner will be catered for, followed by an auction where you may pick up a bargain or two!  Items will include articles and services donated to the club. 

Monday 11^th March:  A short ride (1-2hrs) may be scheduled depending on how many want to ride
