May ride out – Bennett’s, Mt Crawford Forrest – Sunday 19 May 2013

Ride description- This ride will leave from Bennett’s Picnic Area, Mt Crawford Forest at Chain of Ponds. Ride will be about 3-3 ½ hrs depending on how fast we go, which will probably be mostly walk and a trot. A small horse stile to negotiate, some beautiful secret forests, a few steep sections on the trail & lovely views to enjoy.  BYO lunch for a bite to eat afterwards.

Directions- heading toward Chain of Ponds from Kersbrook township on Little Para Rd, travel 3 km & turn left (approx 800m past the cemetery on the left & 400m after the Cherry Farm on the right), the turn comes up quickly & can be difficult to see so slow down early.  Signs will be out.

Cost- $2 forest fee per rider(if not a permit holder).  Plus ATHRA member $2 Ride fee & Non ATHRA member visitor fee $25 (please be advised that if you are not a member of ATHRA you will need to be sponsored by an ATHRA member to participate).Please bring the correct change & place in tin at sign on book
