October Ride out - HUMBUG SCRUB    Sunday 20 October 2013

Ride Description -As usual 9.00a for 10a start. The ride starts at Kath & John’s place “Rock Ridge”, 186 Karwin Rd, Humbug Scrub.  The ride will be on undulating forest tracks, with a short stretch of gravel road.  There will be a couple of small creek crossings & a horse stall to go over to get into the park.  The ride will trot at some point on the ride & the opportunity will be there for the group to separate for some to go off to a different track for a canter.  Unfortunately the ride goes out & comes back the same way but a pretty ride with Kangaroos likely to be encountered & maybe deer also.  The ride will take approx 2 ½ -3 hours. A bbq will be provided again after the ride, so please stay & enjoy.

Directions – Karwin Rd is on the left 4 kms (heading toward Kersbrook) from the One Tree Hill-Kersbrook Turn off.  Follow Karwin Rd (stay left) to the end (2 kms = approx 500m of bitumen & 1500m of dirt).  186 is on the Right at the dead end of Karwin Rd - follow the drive approx 800m to the stables.

Cost -ATHRA member $2 ride fee.Non ATHRA member riding visitor fee $25/day (please be advised that if you are not a member of ATHRA you will need to be sponsored by an ATHRA member to ride).  Please bring thecorrect change & place in tin at sign on book.
