SHAATRI has customary ridden in the Anzac Parade at The Caves, parking up past the school and riding down to the assembly point before the start of the March, usually 12md.

After the Parade we go back to our floats, have BYO lunch or food from The Caves Country Pub if someone is able to stay with the horses while someone runs in to get it.

A Fast Paced SHAATRI ride is then held through the Scrub east of The Caves.  Ride through The Caves township, along Barmoya road which has footpaths to ride on, and we get to a narrow place on the range to transverse which we need to move along in single file in a fast trot so we are out of that area as quicklly as possible. The Scrub has been washed out by our recent wet and is overgrow so is reduced to a walking and slow trotting track, no more the fast canter that Normie loved. As our kids love to canter we do so when possible so only those that are able to canter are permitted ot attend.
