January RIDE OUT – MOONLIGHT RIDE – Saturday11^th January 2014

Ride description – After a stirrup cup, the ride will take approx 2 hours along dirt roads around the Roseworthy area.  The moon rises at 4.24pm & the sun sets at 8.33pm so we should have great light for the ride (81% moon), hopefully with no clouds.

To participate Riders must wearreflective clothing (hi-vis with reflective strips), & it is advisable to take a torch or head light (worn on helmet).(Some spare vests should be available for those who do not have hi-vis reflective gear).   For your information/safety here is the link for road rules for riding horses on roads from transport SA http://www.dpti.sa.gov.au/roadsafety/safe_road_users/horses

Directions- heading toward Roseworthy township on Main North Rd from Gawler just inside the 60k zone turn left (Lienerts factory is on right) onto Gartrell Rd (pub will now be on your right), go straight across railway line & then 1st right onto Ronda Ave & our house is No.18, eighth house on the right, just past Arthur Road (on left).  Bitumen all the way now- parking in yard or paddock.  Signs will be out. 

Cost:-ATHRA member $2 ride fee. Non ATHRA member riding visitor fee $25/day (please be advised that if you are not a member of ATHRA you will need to be sponsored by an ATHRA member to ride).  Please have the correct money.
