March OBSTICLE DAY – Rosedale – Sunday 30th March 2014

Teena has come up with a few ideas for training/obstacles for horse & riders to make the day interesting & fun. The idea is to expose you & your mount to items & experiences that will help you (& your horse) to remain calm & in controll when you come across those unexected situations on your rides. A few of the ideas are as follow & of corse, more ideas are always welcome.
These are ideas only & we may get to do some or all of these on the day. Some are done on the ground & mounted also. If anyone has any more ideas please let Teena know as she would like to try and have some sort of pattern set out. Also if you have items you can bring to help in these tasks also let Teena know.
We are going to have a fun filled day and lots of laughter & of course don’t forget to stay after for an excellent BBQ lunch supplied by our hosts, Kylie & Lisa.(Yum!!)
Directions: For those coming from Gawler, head towards Sandy Creek and then on towards Lyndoch, before township you need to turn left on Yaldara Drive which is by the Barossa Caravan Park. This is a dirt road which you need to follow for approx 3km, keep heading left when you come to the corner (turns into Scenic Rd) and head up the hill, when on the decline you will come to a stone wall with a grid on the right number 269, turn in to there and head up the driveway, do not go to the house head up the hill to the shed where you will see parking for floats.
