Floating to: Carmichaels Road, Purga (1 hour from Nerang) via M2 an Motorway then M15 Cunningham Hwy then H93 Ipswich-Boonah Road
Camp sign on: anytime Saturday 08 March
Ride sign on: 8.30 am SHARP Duration of ride – approx 4.5 hours (incl saddle bag morning tea) (BYO lunch back at floats)
ESSENTIAL – To do this ride you must :
A) be a member of our club or confirm BEFOREHAND that you are with another ATHRA club (for insurance cover)
(only riders that have NEVER been with an ATHRA club previously can be accepted (and pay $20) as a visitor ) &
B) contact Jenny Booth (Trail Co-ordinator) to advise your participation
I ask that you show good manners and have the courtesy to advise Jenny Booth (our club Trail Co-ordinator that you will be participating (either as a rider or non rider) – also Jenny can make contact with you should the ride be cancelled or changed and MOST IMPORTANTLY to ensure you are covered under our insurance from when you load your horse to your float at your home to when you unload your horse from the float at your home. NO CONTACT - NO COME!!!

This will not be a split ride – DIE HARDS will get areas that they will be able to break away for a canter.
Medium ride – some small hill climbing - horses need to be fit and it is essential that they be shod or wearing boots as there are rocky sections in the forest.
