DECEMBER RIDE.
Departing from the Boolarra Pub, Sunday 14th December at 9:30 am. 9:15 Horseless Muster
For those who wish to camp over on Saturday night there are showers and the camping is free. The pizzas are to die for and Toni and Nick will make you feel very welcome. The EFTPOS machine is stuffed so bring cash.
The ride will take us through what I call the Barktown forest. There will be some bitumen to start with (not much) some areas can be a little rocky so shoes or boot would be recommended. However I have ridden these tracks barefoot many times without problems. The ride will be 3-4 hours with opportunities for a trot and canter if desired, walkers will be well catered for with the possibility of splitting into two groups for a portion of the ride if needed.
To finish the ride we will be back at the Boolarra pub for a full on barbeque/salad at $15.00 per head (vegetarians catered for) with a little drinky poo if you want too. This is our Christmas Break up ride to celebrate a wonderful year for our Club and I urge you to attend. Guests are most welcome for the BBQ.
