Tynong North – Link Road, Tynong North The last time we had a great day with the Warragul Club, hope we do see deer again. Tynong Ride Notice This ride has a variety of terrain. Ranging from undulating to a couple of steep parts. Breastplates recommended. Horses need to be able to stop, stand and step over stuff. Expect to be out for about 4.5 hours at a slow pace with opportunities for a few canters for those that would like to. Lunch will be out on the trail. Directions: Take the Tynong Nth Rd. Stay on that for approx 9.5 km until you come to a fork in the road (Camp Rd) Follow the main road around to the left, past the horse float unloading area and continue on until you get to 'Y' intersection. Follow road around to the right for approx 1.2 km and you will see Link Rd. Turn left and we are parking a few hundred metres along here. Ignore Google maps. They have the road names wrong. You will end up not with us. Parking: Link Rd is a quiet road/track through the bush, but is does get some traffic. To keep the park rangers happy, ideally, I would like everyone to park on the same side of the road. Please park in a way, so that no horses are tied up on the road side of the float. This makes ranger man VERY grumpy and I don't want to have to deal with him. Also, do not park in front of the access gate on either side of the road, or I will turn into the parking nazi and you don't want to see that. Again, I don't want to have to deal with grumpy ranger man. How does that sound? Have I scared people off? Anything I should add? All enquiries and to confirm your attendance for the Tynong North Ride.
