MARCH RIDE OUT – Rosedale SATURDAY 21st MARCH 2015

Ride Description:-  This ride is approx 3hrs, mostly dirt/gravel roads, and a short distance on the side of bitumen road. We will be crossing the highway and then following the train line back which in parts is nice and sandy. For those that are keen there is an opportunity for a trot and a canter too!! There may be the odd kangaroo to contend with but other than that, this is a lovely ride to do.

You are most welcome to stay for a BBQ supplied lunch after the ride with a beverage or two!

Directions:-  For those coming from Gawler, head towards Sandy Creek and then on towards Lyndoch, before township you need to turn left on Yaldara Drive which is by the Barossa Caravan Park. This is a dirt road which you need to follow for approx 3km, keep heading left when you come to the corner (turns into Scenic Rd) and head up the hill, when on the decline you will come to a stone wall with a grid on the right number 269, turn in to there and head up the driveway, do not go to the house head up the hill to the shed where you will see parking for floats.  Please call Lisa 041 8806 213 for directions off Rosedale Road if you are coming this way.

Cost :-  ATHRA member $2 ride fee. Non ATHRA member riding visitor fee $25/day – 2 days maximum (please be advised that if you are not a member of ATHRA you will need to be sponsored by an ATHRA member to ride).  Please bring the correct change & place in tin at sign on book.
