December RIDE OUT – Rosedale - Saturday 12 December 2015

 Ride Description: This ride consists of mostly dirt/gravel roads and tracks. There will be a short distance on the side of bitumen road. We will be riding through the township of Lyndoch and then heading towards Altona to a lovely sandy track. There may be a few kangaroo's to contend with as the sand track is a haven for them but other than that, this is a lovely ride to do.  This ride is approximately 3hrs.  For those that are keen there is an opportunity for a trot and a canter too!! 

 For those who are interested, you are most welcome to stay for a BBQ supplied lunch after the ride with a beverage or two!

Directions:For those coming from Gawler, head towards Sandy Creek and then on towards Lyndoch, before township you need to turn left on Yaldara Drive which is by the Barossa Caravan Park. This is a dirt road which you need to follow for approx 3km, keep heading left when you come to the corner (turns into Scenic Rd) and head up the hill, when on the decline you will come to a stone wall with a grid on the right number 269, turn in to there and head up the driveway, DO NOT go to the house head up the hill to the shed where you will see parking for floats.  Please call Lisa 041 8806 213 for directions off Rosedale Road if you are coming this way.

 Cost:ATHRA member $2 ride fee.  Non ATHRA member riding visitor fee $40/day – 2 days maximum (please be advised that if you are not a member of ATHRA you will need to be sponsored by an ATHRA member to ride).  Please bring the correct change & place in tin at sign on book.
