Blackwood Pub ride!

This ride goes through some beautiful bush, with lots of single trail along to the Blackwood Pub for lunch. There is a small paddock right next door to the pub with lots of places to tie up and we can watch the horses from the pubs enclosed balcony.

From the Trentham main drag turn south opposite the IGA supermarket this is the Blackwood Rd. Approx just under 2km there is a sign Old Blackwood Rd. On your left follow this approx 1 km. Turn right on Tower track and follow club signs into Pronk Track. Parking is out the front of Wally Pronk’s property on the left.

Ride out at 10am

No notable difficult sections on this ride so should be pleasant and easy going, mainly bushtrails. Approx 20 kms. Bring some water for your horse for after the ride, expect to be back at the trailers between 3-3.30pm.

Don’t forget to bring money with you for pub meal and lead ropes for tie up.
