Ride weekend 18th and 19th July This ride will be a 2 day ride as it is not a public holiday on the tablelands. It is expected to be cold so bring warm clothes for both you and your horse
Camping at Wongabel stables. There is area for night lining for horses.
Ride Saturday 18th Mt Wallum to get there turn onto rifle range road Atherton park at the start of the walking track at Mt Bulla. Aim to leave at around 9am.
Ride Sunday 19th Park at the rail trails parking area at Tolga this can be reached by turning off the main Cairns Atherton road go past the Tolga pub turn left at the Tolga pub .
The parking area is on the left . There will be lots of cantering and trotting on this ride I aim to go to Yuruga for lunch the second option is to have lunch at the rocky creek camping spot. So bring your own as a back up. You will need to bring own food and water for day one as well.
