Directions – From the Calder Hwy (not the Calder Freeway), going into the Taradale township, you will find the Old Drummond Rd intersects with the Calder Hwy just near the centre of town. Take this route to Alison’s place at 217 Old Drummond Road.

Ride – The ride will be about 20-25kms of made tracks, kangaroo tracks and bush bashing. We will be walking, trotting and cantering when appropriate throughout the ride. Riders will need to be competent with reasonably fit horses with appropriate shoes, boots or hardy hooves as there will rocky patches and gravel roads. There will be ups and downs so breast plates and cruppers will be needed if your saddles move about.
Conditions – This ride is NOT suitable for beginner riders, green or unfit horses.
Bring - Bring a drink and a saddle bag lunch. Alison will be providing afternoon tea after the ride.
Riders are to nominate for this ride due to parking restrictions at Alison’s place; depending on the numbers the ride may have to commence elsewhere. Nominations can be done through Facebook or texting Alison on 0427 169 791.
