Where: Around 20km from town, near Rockglen Mine, there is no water or facilities for camping so bring everything. Need to be there earlier so you can set up camp. If wet may have to be cancelled.
Rides: Saturday ride to start at 4:00pm sharp won’t get back to camp until dark
Sunday ride to start around 9:00am if people want and be back to camp around noon
Rating: 3 up and down, through forest, some areas rocky/shaly but not too bad
Yarding: No yards – parking will be around entrance so need fences or tie up for the night if staying overnight but leave enough room for all
Water: Bring your own buckets, no water at camping area, a couple of dams with water as we go around
Food: Bring your dinner and breakfast
Plus bring something to share for morning tea then there will be lunch
Facilities: None – so bring everything, no fires but cooker/BBQ ok, don’t forget a torch and loo paper. Take your rubbish with you
Dogs: Dogs not allowed its a State Park

Directions all km’s are approximate
· Coming from Gunnedah –30km
· Turn at Town Hall towards River
· Cross Cohens Bridge
· Left turn into Wean Road
· From Kelvin/Wean intersection around 25km to Riordan Road
· Turn left into Riordan Road, this is just before Mine entrance
· Follow dirt road, be careful crossing the Mines Haul Road
· Go over cattle grid and find a parking spot/horse yard
