To start riding at 2:00pm Saturday and 9:00am Sunday
Where: Just out of Walcha at Ian’s place
Rides: Friday – short afternoon ride around 1.5 hours leaving at 4:00pm
Saturday morning pre-brekkie fog ride – 6:30am to see the fog - like up with the sparrows!
Saturday afternoon around 2pm for a few hours
Sunday ride out around 9am on Sunday morning, have morning tea along the way with June, lunch and then back to the camp for a club tidy-up
Rating: 1 – 2 easy with some hills and rocks
Yarding: There are some yards but they are a distant from where we all camp. Most of us will need to bring tape to setup electric yards
Water: Bring your own buckets
Food: Friday Dinner and drinks at the Commercial Hotel around 7:00pm in Walcha
Saturday Bring your own brekkie, lunch and dinner - BBQ and outdoor camp fire available
Sunday Bring something to share for morning tea then a BBQ lunch for $6 per person
Facilities: Ian does have a shower and loo we can use, but if you have your own please bring so that we don’t over whelm Ian’s small cottage or his plumbing

Directions all km’s are approximate
· Coming from Gunnedah – takes around 2.5 hours,
· Head to Bendemeer on the New England Hwy
· Just past the Bendemeer Show Grounds turn right to Walcha
· Once in Walcha take second roundabout turning
· Right onto Gloucester Rd
· Just out of town a few kms turn right into Aberbaldie Rd
· Drive 20-22km to Niangla Rd and turn right
(just over the second bridge, which is the Macdonald River)
· Go a further 1kms and turn right into the property
· After first gate there is another one then Ian’s place
· Ian lives in the smaller cottage
