Firth Park - Day Ride, Bullengarook Sunday 17th April 2016
This ride will be from Firth Park into the Wombat Forest. We will be riding on sandy/dirt tracks and some gravel roads over flat to undulating terrain. It is not considered a difficult ride. RCTHRC signs will be displayed.We expect to return to floats at around 2:30pm.
There are a few small yards and drop toilets & camping is permitted (no power) should anyone wish to arrive earlier than Sunday and enjoy a camp experience – you would need to provide all your own essentials as the club is just organizing the Sunday ride.
·Horses are to be reasonably fit, with feet adequately conditioned and / or shod.
·Stallions by approval only.
·Breastplates and Cruppers are recommended.
·Horses known to kick must wear a red ribbon in their tail.
·Under 18’s must wear an approved riding helmet.
·Riders under 16 must be under adult supervision and have a signed approval.
·RCTHRC recommends that all riders have Ambulance cover.
·Dogs are not permitted on the ride itself but when in the float parking area must be on a lead at all times.
·All riders must adhere to the RCTHRC rules which incorporate the ATHRA Code of Conduct.
·All riders must advise the Ride Leader of any medical condition prior to the commencement of the ride.
