Come and Try is a harness and ridden horse combined ride. All welcome. This ride will be approx 20km over a full day starting with a 10am muster - for a strict 10:30 ride out. Ride will be walk/trot/canter. For new members -Please allow time to fill out any forms prior to this.
Meet at 'Glenfield' located in Glencoe on the corner of Lake Edward and Kirip rds. Please enter the property via the Kirip rd paddock gate.
Lunch will be out on the trail at Lake Edward. For those that can't carry food and water during the ride, items can be placed in a vehicle which will meet us at the lunch spot. Parents/partners/visitors are also welcome to join us for lunch.
BYO - halter, lead rope, drinking water for yourself, cut lunch.
Bring something to share for afternoon tea around the fire when we get back - chips/slice/biscuits... for those that wish to stay later, there will be a BBQ plate available for a pull-together meal.
