Practice Day for Trail Boss Practical
Mount Manypeaks Horse & Pony Club (MMHPC)
When: Thu 28th July 2016
10.30am – 2.30pm
Where: MMHPC Grounds
The MMHPC Grounds area located on the South Coast Hwy within the township of Manypeaks WA, on the east side of the main Primary School entrance; drive through the parents car park over the footpath and the access gate is straight ahead.
The day will focus on practicing the practical component to the trail boss accreditation including a short trail ride.
Ride and control a horse at a walk, trot and canter,
Open and close a gate either mounted or dismounted,
Mount and dismount a horse unassisted,
Lead a horse whilst mounted,
Lead a horse from the ground,
Correct and functional fit of tack and or equipment, and
Actively participate mounted in a Trail Ride.
Who: Club members & Visitors Welcome
What to bring: BYO lunch.
Horse water available at MMHPC Grounds.
