This is listed as a day ride for Sunday however Joe has offered his property to members wishing to camp over from Friday to the Sunday. If you would like to camp over there will be a non ATHRA ride lead by Joe on the Saturday (ride out at 10am) please make sure you have your portable yards and all provisions. There is a community shed and toilet on site (no shower or power) tank water available for both horses & humans.

This ride will start from Joe Curmi’s property in Elaine and ride in the Lal Lal State Forest.

Riding will be on sandy/gravel, roads and tracks with terrain being flat to undulating and there will be some hilly sections but not daunting.

Anticipated return to Joe’s will be around 2:30pm where we will provide a BBQ sausage/hamburger sizzle, tea / coffee also be available.

 Horses are to be reasonably fit, with feet adequately conditioned and / or shod.

 Stallions by approval only.

 Breastplates and Cruppers are recommended.

 Horses known to kick must wear a red ribbon in their tail.

 Under 18’s must wear an approved riding helmet.

 Riders under 16 must be under adult supervision and have a signed approval.

 RCTHRC recommends that all riders have Ambulance cover.

 Dogs are not permitted on the ride itself but when in the float parking area must be on a lead at all times.

 All riders must adhere to the RCTHRC rules which incorporate the ATHRA Code of

Conduct.

 All riders must advise the Ride Leader of any medical condition prior to the

commencement of the ride.

Horseless Muster 9.30am.

Ride out time Sunday - 10:00am.

Saddle Bag lunch & drink required
