Consensus from members has been to have the Club’s Christmas Dinner gathering at our place, and we hope lots of you can come along; including your family, friends & helpers of the club etc.

• $10 per person attending – this includes platters of nibbles (pre-dinner out on the lawn), a selection of roast meats, salads/roast vegetables and Xmas pudding & many other sweets.

• Attendees to bring either a Salad OR Dessert to share (let Maria know what you intend to bring so we don’t double up) Julie is bringing the vegies for roasting as she did last year…. Thanks Julie!

• BYO cold drinks of your choice – Ice in tubs will be there for you to use if wanted.

• Selection of Teas and coffee will be provided.

• Arrive around 5.30pm to chill out (enjoy platters and drinks) and then main meal served by about 8pm or after.

• Let me know if you are vegetarian please.

• No need to bring plates, cutlery or glasses.

• We have plenty of chairs to cater for about 40 people (the Chairs are the outdoor living table setting chairs ….. so you may like to bring a small cushion to help sit more upright for the meal !!)

• RSVP to Maria ASAP (to give an idea of numbers) but all RSVP’s & payment needed by 27th Nov. (Not appropriate for Maria to purchase food for those who say they will attend without payment).

• Kris Kringle – the majority of members voted to have a Kris Kringle for the night – so please bring a wrapped gift to share suitable for male or female (gift value to = $5 to $10).

NOTE if you would prefer not to be part of this concept – that is totally fine, you do not need to participate in this gift giving. Please feel absolutely comfortable to opt out.

• If anyone has some cool ideas for a bit of fun throughout the night please let us know to include.

We hope many of you will be able to come along for the evening together to celebrate the Club’s Christmas end of year dinner. If the weather is inclement that is fine too, as we have an undercover area for all of us to still kick back and relax out of the rain and wind etc.

There is plenty of lawn area for camping for anyone who may wish to stay the night after having drinks. (Not worth losing our licences after a jolly night!) Feel free to totally relax and do so. We are certainly up for continuing for Sunday breakfast if that’s how it pans out!

Directions. Lot 198 Hempel Road Seppeltsfield / Daveyston.  

From Gawler approx. 19kms up Sturt Hwy – turn left after Laucke Mill on to the Freeling Rd.

Turn immediately right into Daveyston & proceed through Daveyston & under the Sturt Hway & on to Hempel Rd (dirt) proceed approx. 2km – our home is on the right Lot 198 – 5th house along.

From Gomersal Rd: Turn north on to Gerald Roberts Road (all dirt road through to Seppeltsfield) – This links on to Seppeltsfield Rd. Turn left & proceed towards Greenock, about 1km on Seppeltsfield Road turn left on to Hempel Rd. We are then 600mtr on the left – 2nd house.

From Chateau Dorrien Winery Corner – on the Nuri/Tanunda main road – Head 9kms towards Seppeltsfield, proceed through Seppeltsfield and on around the sweeping right-hand bend towards Greenock. Turn left on to Hempel Rd. We are then 600mtr on the left – 2nd house.
