Ride - T This ride is about 22km with a winery stop at the Kyneton Ridge Estate for lunch. This ride is mostly dirt roads and is very peaceful and has a nice view of the east side of Kyneton over Mt Alexander with the great boulders of granite hills. There is a small section where we ride along the wide nature strip to avoid a bitumen road with a few cars. But traffic is always fantastic and will slow down.
Conditions – This ride is along a smooth sandy gravel dirt roads. Horses will need to be very fit and I would recommend shoes or boots for this ride as many of the roads are dirt gravel like. There are some nice long hills for some really good canters.
Bring – Bring drink bottle and saddle bag or money for our winery lunch.
Nominations/RSVP –. Rayven via text message at least one week prior to ride on 0473 437 592. Any non-ATHRA members must do the on-line Prospective Member book-in before they turn up to the ride.... see the ATHRA website for details.
