Half day ride on the Saturday & full day ride on the Sunday. If you are unable to camp over you are welcome to come just for the ride on Sunday commencing at 9am.
The Cameron’s Creek campsite was used for the first time for the ATHRA Easter camp 2017 having only been purchased prior to the Easter camp by the Brisbane City Council for development as a gateway to the Changing Mountain precinct, with a focus on horse riding and walking trails through some of the best scenery in the South East. We will also be riding through water catchment and conservation lands managed by SEQwater, much of it not previously accessible to horses.
It is recommended horses are shod, wear boots or are well-seasoned bare-footers for most rides. Horses need to be conditioned for hills.
HOUSEKEEPING
There will be a port-a-lo and the club will have there camp shower available.
