Peaks Crossing
Direction to camp site for Peaks Crossing Camp Weekend 14th/15th July 2018
The camp site is 4 km down La Grande Road at the stock yards (dirt road).
La Grand Road is between Woolooman Road and Washpool Road.
There will be balloons tied on the street sign as it is set back off the main road.
If traveling from Beaudesert:
La Grande Road is 13km from the T intersection where Beaudesert Boonah Road meets Ipswich Boonah Road, turn right toward Ipswich and travel 13km, La Grande Road is on the right hand side.
If traveling from Ipswich:
La Grand Road is 8km from the Peak Pub on the left hand side.
There will be 10 yards available, BYO water for yourself - there is a creek nearby for the horses.
Saturday 14th Ride:- about 32km ride, not a hard ride but a long ride. There is some gravel road so shoes, boots or long term barefoot only. Bring saddlebag morning tea, lunch and water. Must ride out at 9-30am so don’t be late.
Sunday 15th ride: Pub ride so bring some cash for lunch and saddlebag morning tea. 9am ride out for an easy 3 hour ride to the local pub for lunch and then back at camp by about 2-30pm. There is some road riding and again gravel roads so shoes, boots or long term barefoot.
Cost: $5-00 per day
