Denmark Equestrian Club (DEC) is run by volunteers with members from all around the Great Southern who meet once a month to enjoy their horses in a supportive, safe and social environment. DEC caters for all riders and our focus is on having fun and learning more about our horses. We do not follow any particular riding style and encourage all members to be involved in whatever way they choose. Our club is based on respect for our horses regardless of the discipline. We are based at the Denmark Equestrian Grounds on Beveridge Street in Denmark. However, many of our events take place in other locations including the nearby heritage trail, state forests, beaches and private properties.
We typically meet on the 3rd Sunday of the month. Our annual calendar covers a range of events including: • Trekking / Trail rides • Games days • Clinics • Pole work • Saddle fit / bare foot trimming information session • Archery • Horse mounted orienteering • Camp overs • Flatwork training
