ATHRA provides members with great value and benefits.
The Toongabbie Recreation Reserve committee allowed us to fence of part of the reserve giving the club some land that we could use for activities such as Novelty Days, broomstick polo etc. Through hard work by the members the club has improved the facility by constructing a shed, which can be used for club activities and the storage of our gear, and the construction of a toilet block, which makes the area more useable by groups for day activities.
The club was formed to allow families & friends to get together for horse rides and horse activities as well as encourage and help others to learn to ride. It is a family club, encouraging all members of the family to come along and join in and has been run at Toongabbie for over 30 years.Members get together for a club trail ride or other activity on the first Sunday of the month. These rides cover many areas including the high country, beaches other parts of Gippsland and the local Toongabbie area.
