Thanks to the hard work of Rose Deren, we will be riding the BNT trail from Parkwood to Hall.
This ride will introduce new obstacles and challenges for those horse and rider combinations who are used to the open country, so we will be relying on our city friends to show us the ropes. There are cavaletti to cross as well as some roads. Most of the ride will be along the fenced laneways of the BNT and promises a good variety of scenery.
Both of our accredited Trail Bosses are out of action, riding-wise, but have offered to come along in support vehicles to present the pre-ride talk and to assist us across the roads. They will also carry any supplies we wish to bring along. We really appreciate their commitment to our club.
Lunch will be a highlight of the day. Don will take our orders from the Wood Duck Inn menu before the ride. We will stop at the Hall Showgrounds where there are small yards to secure our horses and Don will deliver our lunches.
Should be a great day and it is good to have a variety in venue and trail type.
