Day ride with saddle-bag lunch. Ride to the top of Mt Tarrengower where the views across the Maldon Township are rather awesome. Commence descent down southern slopes past old mining works before having lunch by a dam. Afterlunch we clinb back up the mount before taking in views to the west and Cairn Curren Reservoir. Our ride then descends back to our car park via some gentler tracks. Distance 15kms. Terrain: steep slopes, slippery terrain, and rocky sections.
