Micalago Station Day Ride and (optional) Camp 5th October 2013
This ride is open to TTHRInc club members, ATHRA members and non members, who will be required to pay a Day ride fee of $30 for insurance purposes.

Ride Register: It is a requirement that all participants sign the ride register upon arrival at the ride base. A parent or guardian MUST sign the register for junior riders (under 18).
Ride Start Time: Saturday 5 October, arrive by 8:30am for 9:00am start. NO LATE STARTERS, SORRY
Directions: From Canberra, take the Monaro Highway to Michelago. Continue on the Hwy past the Michelago turn off, travel approx 1km and take the next left turn into Micalago Rd. This is a dirt road in good condition. Travel approx. 6 kms. Pass through white gates and over cattle grid of Micalago Station. Park on flat area to the left just inside the gates.
Ride Description: Easy paced ride on private land. Support vehicle will meet us for BBQ lunch. As it is a long weekend, Don invites riders to camp overnight after ride. Don has organised a mini-bus (max 10 people) to transport campers to and from Bredbo Pub for meal on Saturday night.

Estimated Duration: 3 -4 hours
Catering: BYO morning tea and BBQ lunch for ride. Morning tea to be carried. Bring something to throw on BBQ for lunch. Lunches to be carried to lunch spot by support vehicle. If staying over on Saturday night we will be going to Bredbo Pub for dinner. You will need to bring breakfast for Sunday morning.
Equipment: Bring headstalls for tying, leading horses, other equipment as required by the individual for day ride. If staying for overnight camp, bring camping equipment, and
Horse feed: Please bring your own.
Water Availability: Creeks and dams.
First Aid: A basic first aid kit will be carried on the ride.
Emergency Contact: Mobile phone and hand held radios will be carried on the ride.
Helmets: All junior riders (under 18) MUST wear AS/NZ 3838 or ASTM F 1163 helmets less than five years old.
Horse Shoes: Recommended but not essential. Bring boots for unshod horses.
Dogs/Stallions: Not allowed
