A day ride from Penny weight Flats through the bushlands to the old Forest Creek mining sites. BYO saddle bag lunch for when we stop. Return by way of the pine plantations and gravel roads to our start. Take in the old Welsh Miner's village ruins and other sites. Very hilly and very rocky, so recommend a fit horse, well shod or with good fitting boots.
