Nangar Day Ride this Sunday 28th June.
Ride departs 10.30am.
Sunday's weather is forecast as clear but cool with a top of 15 degrees at Eugowra.
Join us for a 3-4 hour ride in the beautiful "Happy Valley" of Nangar National Park. Riding conditions vary from moderate to steep rocky terrain. It is recommended that horses are fit and shod. Lunch will be enjoyed on the trail so please carry a packed lunch, headstall, and baling twine to tether horses.
Directions: Take the Forbes Rd from Orange to Cudal.
Continue along The Escort Way through Murga and Toogong. Turn left into the "Nangar National Park" which is marked by a "National Parks & Wildlife" brown sign adorned with balloons. Follow the road through private property (approximately 1-2 kms) until you come to a cattle grid and entrance into the National Park. Turn right just past the grid where there are balloons. Follow the track down to the "mandarin tree".
