OTHRA Inc is a non competitive trail riding club with members of all ages that wish to foster the natural enjoyment of horses, land and people. We encourage members of all ages who love their horses and riding the trail, enjoying the journey not just the destination.
OTHRA has been operating for more than 20 years with fluctuating numbers. We enjoy ambling along country roads and through forests. We often have lunch on the trail or together when we return.

Orange Trail Horse Riders Association has enjoyed a long and active association with ATHRA in excess of 20 years. We have enjoyed the natural and planted forests of the area around Orange, Canowindra, Cudal, Eugowra, Manildra, Carcoar, Neville, Spring Hill & Millthorpe.
A customary weekend camp at Nangar National Park and a ride into the nearby town of Eugowra has been a favourite of many riders over the years. In the early years enjoying the comforts the old homestead provided - the homestead compound, yards, dams, tank water and shelter. Sadly the homestead no longer stands, a piece of history lost to vandals.
Canowindra has long been another favourite venue and still is today, enjoying the streets around town followed by a well-deserved stop at the local hotels, restaurants and cafes for a drink and a meal. The call of "Horses" is often heard as we ride through town, from locals and visitors alike, they come running out of their homes, stores and hotels to take photos of the horses as we ride up the main street, something rarely seen today.
