You are welcome to stay overnight Friday night if you wish.

Saturday 9.30 am start – 4 hour ride. Undulating hills with spectacular views.

Sunday 9.30 am start – 2 hour easy ride around the property.

Jane Holman has offered her property for a ride on the weekend 13th/14th April. Cumberland THRC and Central Tablelands have been invited to share this with us.

The ride will be a camp over. Some riders will be staying on Friday and Saturday nights.

Location ‘Dargo’ 209 Cashens Lane, Guyong (Between Bathurst and Orange)

Directions

Cashens Lane is off the Mitchell Highway, about 26km from Orange, on the left. There is a sign to Macquarie Woods and Cashens Lane on the highway. It’s just over a crest at the end of an overtaking lane. As a landmark, there is a very neatly trimmed Photinea hedge on the neighbour’s driveway on the crest just before our turnoff. Look out for the ‘form one lane’ sign at the end of the overtaking lane – the turnoff is tucked in just behind it.

‘Dargo’ is 2km along Cashens lane on the left. There is a row of young deciduous trees lining the drive. The start of the drive is a bit steep and corrugated but improves at the top of the first hill. Drive to the end of the driveway and through the double gates.

Catering

Wayne and Ron will be providing breakfast on Saturday and Sunday morning for all riders. Bacon, eggs, sausages, toast, tea or coffee.

There will be a BBQ dinner Friday and Saturday night. ( We will need to know numbers ASAP)

Things available to riders include:

• Water

• Tables and chairs

• Urn

• Porta loo and Cumberland does have a shower facility that they will make available to our members.

• Some yards

List of things the riders will need to bring:

• Swag if staying overnight.

• Lunch for Saturday as we will have lunch out on the ride.

• Yards for horses – best to bring your own if you can.

• And the usual stuff that you take on overnight rides. 
